These guys are hugely popular up in Byron Bay at Mullumbimby markets, Bluesfest and their cafe Doma in Federal.

Delicious food, efficient and friendly service. Run by Japanese people.. ask to be seated on the side deck, there is a beautiful view on the river and country side.. highly recommended

This place is a wonderful Japanese influenced restaurant/cafe. The food is really special - it's hard to cal it Japanese and I loathe to call it "fusion" or "Australian influenced" but it allows the diner to eat by sharing small dishes or a more [western] style of entree and main. The wine and beer selection is great and the staff we very friendly. The setting of this restaurant is an old timber two story house and makes for an ideal place for a intimate dining experience (and cosy in the winter).

Gorgeous building, lovely staff and the food is super creative Japanese on a slightly healthy tip with brown rice sushi cones etc.
